Kroger and Randall’s Donation Program Forms Available

Booster Club Scholarship Information Added to Website

The booster club has revised the guidelines for the CHS NJROTC Scholarship Program. Those guidelines, as well as the Scholarship Application and list of Frequently Asked Questions, can be downloaded by clicking on the “Forms” button on the menu above. If there are any additional questions, please direct them to the NSIs, Booster Club board member, or click on the “Contact Us” button to send an email query. Someone should respond to your email within 24 – 72 hours.

Remember Your Service Hours!

A reminder for the cadets: many of the activities you do as an NJROTC cadet can be counted towards your service hours for “YES” as well as National Honor Society and other organizations on campus. Students participating in Wings Over Houston can count their time spent at the event (do not include travel time), so don’t forget to bring your forms for signatures. Time at iFest and at the WAA wreath laying ceremony will also count. The cadets expend numerous hours in service to the community! Get credit for your time! Remember to document and submit the paperwork so that you can track that time.

We Want Spirit Volunteers! HELP!

HELP! We are still lacking a Spirit Committee Chairperson. This is a very important group that works to help boost and maintain a positive attitude with the Unit. “Spirit” volunteers get together to make the occasional Styrofoam cup fence signs and locker signs to cheer on our cadets. This is a great committee for working moms as fence signs can be created in the evening or on weekends, and locker signs can be done at home.

The cadets really notice the signs and appreciate the work of this committee. Come on…everyone can use a little Spirit! Volunteer today by contacting the Booster Club president or send an email via the “Contact Us” link above.

FBISD Drill Competition…Congrats Cadets!

The FBISD Drill Competition (held at Clements September 15th) resulted in a win for the unit: Clements won 3rd Place Inspection and 3rd Place Armed Regulation. Congratulations, cadets!

Commander noted that the Kingwood Drill Competition went extremely well and the cadets did their best.
